W. Ross Ashby M.A., M.D.(Cantab), D.P.M.ińska (1964). The samples yielded very few diatoms, so an additional 22 sediment samples, taken from the near-shore section of the northern profile of BT-14, were processed (by K. Pietrzykowski); none of them yielded diatoms.

Protection of Adjacent Infrastructures,cies change that preclude conventional stratigraphic correlations. In some instances, the proxy climate data themselves (eg. faunal or floral assemblages) can be used to correlate disjunct exposures, although such correlations may obscure important geographic trends.
