Soils Associated with Rupestrian Grasslands2) sandy soils with greater Al. exchangeable levels (Quartize and granites, mainly). Physical, rather than chemical differences, exist amongst the RG soils, influencing water availability at short distances. The patchynature of RG is highly influenced by fire and soil depth, combined.
