System-Level Design and Modelingar and various other optical and acoustical remote sensing techniques showed that nocturnal migrants get attracted to illuminated windfarms when visibility is low, occasionally leading to mass accumulations. On-going research will allow testing the severity of this impact and the effectiveness of possible mitigation measures.

Taylorapproximationen und Potenzreihen,SCI. During the installation of a tripod, a prototype noise mitigation (Small Bubble Curtain) system was tested and evaluated. Measurements of operational noise were made in May and June 2011. This was the first operating noise measurement on wind turbines in the 5 MW class; until then, only smaller turbines had been evaluated.
