Angular Distributions of Precipitating ElectronsFor auroral electrons the angular distribution within the loss cone is probably the most sensitive indicator of the mechanism which causes the precipitation. However, in the energy range of a few keV, which generally contains most of the auroral electron flux, only very limited results have been reported to date.
