Bifurcations of Neural Networks with Almost Symmetric Interconnection Matricesnt dynamics as close to the symmetry condition as one pleases is proved. These include stable limit cycles generated via local Hopf bifurcations or global heteroclinic bifurcations. Moreover, numerical simulations show the presence of period-doubling bifurcations which originate more complicated attractors.

Nonlinear Problems in Friction Compensationte, within the QFT setting, tools from conic analysis, robust nonlinear control, describing function and harmonic balance. The integration is fruitful and feasible due to the use of a common frequencial language, which arises in a natural way within the technique of dither compensation.

Feedback Equivalence to Feedforward Forms for Nonlinear Single-Input Systems result to bring a system to nice feedforward form. We illustrate our solution by analyzing the three- and four-dimensional cases. In particular, we calculate the codimension of four-dimensional systems that are feedback equivalent to feedforward form.
