Road Noise: Embedding Suspension Test Benches in Sound & Vibration Design using virtual points and scriptions: direct blocked forces from a rigid test bench, in situ blocked forces from a compliant test bench, and several component TPA approaches on the full vehicle. Blocked forces are estimated both before and after the bushings. Results are evaluated for simulation of road noise at the driver’s ear in the vehicle.
