Harald Pechlaner,Benedict C. Doepferhe second round took place on April 2, 2017. During the first round, seven candidates for president and vice president were included and more than 3000 candidates for the national assembly, which includes only 137 chairs. For the second round only two political parties presented candidates for president and vice president.
