Kinetic Modelling of Droplet Heating and Evaporation,n. Collisions between molecules are assumed to be inelastic in the general case. The evaporation coefficient is estimated based on molecular dynamics analysis of .-dodecane molecules, using the united atoms model (bonding between hydrogen and carbon molecules is assumed to be much stronger than bonding between carbon molecules).
