Distributed Real-Time Systemsstributed systems is to achieve fault tolerance which is a fundamental requirement from any real-time system. Also, balancing the load across the nodes of a DRTS improves performance. We review the main issues in a DRTs which are models, distributed real-time operating systems and the middleware and the real-time network in this chapter.
