From Blackstone to Blockchain: Theorizing Property Law in the Age of Cryptographyproperty law theory. The chapter presents three main features of a blockchain cryptographic technique, and in addition, three features of property rights as acknowledged by the famous work of William Blackstone of the eighteenth century. The potential interaction between these features is briefly discussed.
