Overview of the ITER Diagnostic System The results of an assessment of the overall performance of the System are presented and the areas where the probable performance falls below the target specifications are identified. On varying both the spatial profiles and the position of the superthermals, the feasibility of ..-measurements using the first harmonic ordinary-mode as well as the second harmonic extraordinarymode is assessed in respect to the accuracy requirement set by ITER.
