,Potential Problems in Real SS?7 Networks,ures, but problems with MTP procedures can be caused in real SS?7 networks by awkward implementations, network structures, and network planning as well as the application of the MTP, especially in large SS?7 networks. These problems will occur in real SS?7 networks if the fundamental assumptions on which the MTP and SS?7 are based are violated.

Migration to an IP-Based Network, they be traditional centralized switches or distributed systems within the IP domain? The answer to these questions depends on the specific application envisaged, up to which degree the SS?7 network reliability and performance requirements should be provided as well as which degree of flexibility a network operator would like to have.
