Cerrado Agriculture and the Environmentervation as early as the first phase of PRODECER. In the following Section 5.3, the pattern of land use in the Cerrado is reviewed, drawing on Landsat satellite image information. From this analysis, it is estimated that 61 percent of the Cerrado remained as natural vegetation after more than two decades of intensive agricultural development.
