Comparison and Discussion of Despeckle Filtering Algorithms, in the case of image quality evaluation and visual evaluation by the experts. In this study, a total of 10 despeckle filters were comparatively evaluated on 440 ultrasound images of the carotid artery bifurcation, and the validation results are summarized in Table 5.1.
