Design Thinking in a Large Manufacturing Organization: Designing a Smart Support System for the Shof its final assembly lines for commercial aircraft, a very complex and highly regulated product. Using the three phases of (1) need finding, (2) prototyping & testing, and (3) implementing, we outline a simplified blueprint of how to introduce Design Thinking by engaging the final end user in the design and co-creation of new solutions.
