Theory Development from Artifacts,s that resulted in the development of theories (nomothetic science). Aiming to better understand the conditions for the occurrence of this phenomenon, the content analysis technique was applied to 92 articles that proposed DSR artifacts and, subsequently, to another 2,389 articles that cited the former.
