Alterations of Ventifact Surfaces at the Glacier/Desert Interface,ion occurred. Ventifacts at Bishop Creek and Mauna Kea formed during glacial periods. Aeolian abrasion and subsequent boulder-surface alteration are rarely considered by glacial geomorphologists who use relative dating methods to assess the ages of glacial deposits.

Reversed Desertification on Sand Dunes Along the Sinai/Negev Border,al for vegetation. Field measurements with a spectrometer indicate that the curve shape of the reflectance of the Landsat-MSS images is swayed by the biogenic crust in the Negev that makes the well known contrast in albedo with Sinai.

Henri-Claude de Bettignies,Fran?ois Lépineux pedologic trends. Ventifact populations formed ~15–22 ka and ~60–65 ka reveal that aeolian erosive activity is associated with full and retreating glacial conditions. Before chronosequence research is conducted on dryland landforms, site to site variability in aeolian influence must be analyzed to assess constancy in affects.
