The Un-Lived Lifevites readers to reflect on. Lauren’s essay shows a community college student doing something we seldom see acknowledged in published research and scholarship. We see a fully engaged community college student, saying important and interesting things, reading an assigned text carefully and skillfully, and producing a strong piece of writing.
