Hardware Implementation of Cascaded Integrator-Comb Filter Using Canonical Signed-Digit Number System, filter pairs. We compare the performance of CSD implemented CIC filter with standard CIC filter. Our empirical analysis shows that CSD implemented CIC filter can basically outperform traditional CIC filters in terms of high frequency applications, noticeably with a reduced computational effort.
