Dialogical models of argumentation,element mesh. As a solution strategy for the constrained problem, we use a classical barrier method. Beside the theoretical aspects and the implementation, a numerical experiment is presented. We illustrate the performance of the proposed r-adaptivity in the case of a cracked specimen.

Material forces in finite elasto-plasticity with continuously distributed dislocations,lasto-plasticity and on constitutive restrictions imposed by the free energy imbalance. The presence of the material forces (microforce and microstress momentum) is a key point in the exposure, and viscoplastic (generally rate dependent) constitutive representation are derived.

An adaptive singular finite element in nonlinear fracture mechanics, where we can use special crack tip elements and/or path independency. To overcome this problem we propose an adaptive singular element, which adapts automatically to the type of singularity. The adaption is based on an optimisation procedure using a variational principle.
