InterOnto – Ranking Inter-Ontology Linksng real-life data from TAIR we show that our proposed scoring function is able to identify the most representative concept pairs while preventing overgeneralization. In comparison to prior work our method generally yields rankings of equivalent or better quality.

Validating Candidate Gene-Mutation Relations in MEDLINE Abstracts via Crowdsourcing36 hours. Initial weighted results evaluated against a gold standard of expert curated gene-mutation relations achieved 85% accuracy, with the best reviewer achieving 91% accuracy. We expect performance to increase with further experimentation, providing a scalable approach for rapid manual curation of important biological relations.

ONCO-i2b2: Improve Patients Selection through Case-Based Information Retrieval Techniques to easily identify patients similar to those found with the i2b2 query tool, so as to increase the number of patients, compared to the patient set directly retrieved by the query. This allows physicians to obtain additional information that can support new insights in the study of tumors.
