The ROSAT Data Archive and other Project Applications of a DBMSdard processing (SASS) of ROSAT data. The DBMS got used for a number of ’normal’ applications like mission planning (J.Schmid/S.Snowden) and the ROSAT proposal utility MIPS (J.Behnke GSFC). This paper discusses three ’hybride’ applications which split the transaction into data retrieval, execution of VMS commands and update of the database:
