Constitutional Courts as Institutions: Status, Mode of Operation, Jurisdictions,ies . I will highlight the differences between the courts in terms of legal basis, administrative structure, budgets, and jurisdiction. While my findings do not challenge the status of these courts as constitutional bodies, they do question the assumption that state constitutional courts display a “high degree of homogeneity.”
