Acquired Nevi: Junctional, Compound, and Dermalsions. Current knowledge and experience on the use of EVCM in melanocytic lesions are limited but shows promising horizons. Examples of junctional, compound, and dermal nevi with classic EVCMEx vivo confocal microscopy features are presented in this chapter.

On digital H&E mode the bright white structures on FCM appear dark purple-blue, corresponding to hyperchromatic hematoxylin stained nuclei on histopathology.
