New Multicarrier Modulations for 5G angular scales against the hypothesis that the observed temperature fluctuations reflect Gaussian initial density perturbations with random phases. The data are in excellent agreement with the Gaussian hypothesis and rule out certain “toy models” of non-Gaussian amplitude distribution.

The Covariant and Gauge Invariant Approach to Perturbations in Cosmologyhe best available approach to proving spatial homogeneity of the universe. The extension of this approach to Sachs-Wolfe style analyses is not yet complete, and a series of issues to do with averaging scales and with modelling the real, lumpy universe by means of simpler, smoothed out models remain to be resolved.
