,Glial Cell Swelling — Effect of Hypothermia,uction of the glutamate- or arachidonic acid-induced cell swelling..The results demonstrate that mild hypothermia per se induces glial cell swelling, but simultaneously inhibits cell swelling from acidosis, while not from glutamate-or arachidonic acid.
