A Review of the DesignX Discourse: Knowledge Diffusion and Integration Across Disciplinesration in DesignX-related research. I argue that knowledge mapping techniques and qualitative analysis complement each other and can yield not only macro knowledge patterns about the examined area but more fine-grained meso- and micro-level knowledge of that area. The paper further reflects on the development of the DesignX approach.
