Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors in the Curative Setting: Pre-clinical and Clinical Data,ts with inoperable recurrent and/or metastatic (R/M) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). For curable HNSCC, the role of immunotherapy is under investigation. In this chapter, we briefly review the current use of immunotherapy with surgery or radio(chemo)therapy in the treatment of HNSCC with curative intent.
