Evaluability Assessmentwhere the prospect of completing a particular evaluation and seeing their work utilized looks dim. If this can happen to experienced individuals, how much more likely it is to happen to novices! Hence a careful evaluability assessment before entering into a project can prevent many deadend efforts.
