Die Organisation der Wirtschaftsredaktion,Nucleic acids are not only the preferred storage medium in the living world, but also have a well characterized structure. In this report a way is shown, how to use basic properties of nucleic acids to partition a given area on a surface. The spatial resolution of such a surface that may be addressed by base pairing is in the nanometer scale.
