Introduction,nnot be distinguished. SCW is completely different from the water at normal temperature with respect to physical parameters such as density, solubility, dielectric constant, ionic product, viscosity and diffusion coefficient.

Corrosion Types and Elemental Effects of Ni-Based and FeCrAl Alloys,ronment, thereby inhibiting further corrosion. However, the presence of oxidant in SCWO environments leads to a higher electrochemical potential, which probably converts the trivalent chromium into hexavalent chromium during the passivation process of the Ni-based alloy.

Corrosion Characteristics of Candidate Alloys,n-resistant alloys mainly include Inconel 600, Inconel 601, Inconel 690 and Inconel X-750. These Ni-based alloys commonly contain a Cr content as high as 14–31 wt% and 79–90 wt% of combined content of Ni and Cr.
