Holonic Institutions for Multi-scale Polycentric Self-governance,ation of this principle based on .. We show how holonic institutions provide a structural framework for nested enterprises, which can be designed as composite systems of systems. This, we believe, is compatible with Ostrom’s ideas for polycentric governance of complex systems. We use a case study in energy distribution to illustrate these ideas.

Severity-Sensitive Robustness Analysis in Normative Systems,ty partial order, together with normative specifications, to rank the possible worlds from the most to the least compliant. In this way, we are able to use model checking to analyse robustness to a certain severity, or whether it is possible to achieve a certain goal, without violating any norm of a given severity.
