Base Station Assisted Hierarchical Routing Protocol in Wireless Sensor Networksups by base station using directional antenna. BSAH combines the benefit of several clustering schemes to maximize the lifetime of sensor nodes. We compare the performance of BSAH with BCDCP, BIDRP and CHIRON. The simulation results show that BSAH achieves 25% to 30% improvement on network lifetime.
