Our scheme is also able to improve TCP throughput by loss differentiation with parameters adapted to new network on vertical handover, considering link layer characteristics of 3G LTE which supports in-order delivery. Simulation result shows improved TCP throughput under various scenarios with TCP Reno and TCP SACK.

Wenping Yu,Yuechen Li,Weiyu Shi QoS requirements from one network to the other but also a means of provisioning the differentiated Service (DS) considering the requirements of a particular flow. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed QoS control scheme based on traffic estimation for the aspect of access delay.
