Nutrient Management Perspectives in Conservation Agricultureciple of CA. Breeding genotypes for better nutrient-use efficiency in CA is also important, as is the control of weeds, insect pests, and diseases. In addition, the appropriate use of fertilizer and nutrients is essential to increase crop productivity and to produce sufficient crop residues in the different climates that CA is practiced.
