Nano-spectroscopy of Individual Carbon Nanotubes and Isolated Graphene Sheetsase has become available only recently. The first Raman signatures of few-layer to single-layer graphene flakes could be obtained and compared with scanning probe microscopy. The effect of electrical charging (doping) on the Raman features is also demonstrated.

Low Frequency Raman Scattering of Two-Dimensional Materials Beyond Graphenegh and low frequency detection. The effect of uniaxial strain on the Raman spectrum of monolayer MoS. is demonstrated. The stacking order and interlayer van der Waals (vdWs)interaction in few-layer TMD materials could be identified by low frequency (LF) Raman spectrum and imaging (.10?rel. cm.).

Raman Spectroscopy and Confocal Raman Imaging in Mineralogy and Petrographypects. Further we present examples how confocal Raman microscopy can be applied in mineral phase and phase composition imaging as well as crystallographic orientation imaging in a variety of geological materials, including shocked minerals, carbonaceous materials and fluid inclusions.
