Introduction,Condition Monitoring (CM) and Fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) help to ensure the reliability and low-cost operation of industrial facilities in engineering systems. CM can provide early detection of machine faults so that appropriate actions can be taken before that fault causes breakdown and, possibly, a catastrophic failure [162].
