Numerical Analysis: Algorithm Under the Rubric of Number,pplied. Its theoretical foundation is provided by the landmark Blum-Cucker-Shub-Smale (BCSS) model of computation. And its practical foundations are based on the IEEE 754, finite-precision, floating-point standardization and the more recently proposed Chebfun model.
