Heart Cavity Segmentation in Ultrasound Images Based on Supervised Neural Networks,avities in an image sequence, selecting data for network training from a single image of the sequence. Besides, our proposal permits detection of cavity contours with techniques of a low computational cost, in a robust and accurate way, with a high degree of autonomy.

Automatic Fitting of a Deformable Face Mask Using a Single Image, invariance is achieved by representing each face as a combination of harmonic images within the weighting function of the particle filter. We demonstrate the performance of our approach on the IMM Face Database and the Extended Yale Face Database B and show that it outperforms the Active Shape Models approach [6].

Re-projective Pose Estimation of a Planar Prototype,he plane we can describe the 3D position of the planar prototype as a solution of an optimization problem over two parameters. Based on this formulation we develop a new algorithm for pose estimation of a planar prototype. Its robustness is illustrated by simulations and experiments with real images.

Detection of Overlapped Ellipses by Combining Region and Edge Data, is employed to efine the ellipses’ geometric parameters based on the edge data. Above coarse-to-fine algorithm is applied to detect the overlapped fruits and the moving targets. The result is stable and accurate.
