Design and implementation of an energy management system for an integrated iron and steel plant,f Zeigler‘s discrete event system and the abstract class simulator. A major design restriction has been the ability to fine-tune the technological parameters of the prediction models in an easy way, without changes to source code. Multirate control of a class of nonlinear systems,can be achieved. Using this fact, a discrete time model for the mobile robot is obtained, and a steering control structure based on a multirate controller is proposed. Some simulation results point out. the feasibility of this approach. Finally, some conclusions are drawn.
