Second Order Algorithm for Time Optimal Control of a Linear Systemis small. In this paper, we use the MAE method to derive a second-order open-loop controller for a representative third-order system. Numerical simulations show that the second-order controller gives significantly better performance than the zero-order controller.

Repetitive Optimization for Predictive Control of Dynamic Systems under Uncertaintyd for flood control of large reservoirs together with a brief summary of extensive simulation experiments. Those experiments consisted of the simulation of over fifty control sessions for each version of the control mechanism.

Ergebnisse der inhaltlichen Analyse,r to find those we formulate our problem in the language of differential geometry and apply the tools of the theory of dynamical systems..We state a rule for obtaining First Integrals for several classes of systems. Our procedure and the results we gained with it, mean a step towards optimal control of nonlinear systems.

Diskussion und Schlussfolgerungentimal feedback controller is outlined, which guarantees a maximal value of the minimum performance index against all disturbances. Numerical results are presented for the optimal reentry maneuver of a hypersonic glider in the presence of uncertain air density.
