Metabolomic Data Exploration and Analysis with the Human Metabolome Database,ata acquired from human and/or mammalian metabolomic studies. This chapter covers three methods or protocols pertinent to using the HMDB: (1) understanding the general layout of the HMDB; (2) exploring the contents of a typical HMDB “MetaboCard”; and (3) an example of how HMDB can be used in a metabolomics study on human glioblastoma.
