Practical Method of Analysis of Rectangular Plates with Holes and Complicated Boundary Conditions bynal problem with boundary constraints to that without boundary constraints. Furthermore, by use of the principle of super-imposition, we can readily establish the global matrix equation of rectangular plates with holes in explicit forms which can greatly simplify the problem.

Influence of Element Form on Accuracy in Isoparametric Elementsen derived when the form of elements is a trapezoid. From these strain expression, it can see that strain components have a singularity of order one. It is believed that loss of accuracy in isoparametric elements is due to the strong singularity. Numerical examples are presented which demonstrate influence of element form on accuracy.
