Large GRP Butterfly Valvesstallation at Fawley Power Station in 1980. Instrumented pressure tests to 4 bar pressure were performed on both valves and a material test programme has been carried out; it is found that operational strains and deflections should be satisfactory for a 30-year life. There will be an inspection of one valve in 1983.
