Clusteranalysen (CLUSTER, QUICK CLUSTER),vity recorded during steady loading is shown to be reproducible and a model of damage accumulation which explains the behaviour is proposed. This approach offers the possibility of calculating minimum lifetimes or of developing proof testing techniques for certain structures in carbon fibre reinforced resin.

A Combined Experimental and Numerical Technique for the Determination of the Material Properties of the laminate’s material properties. These initial values are then used in an iterative procedure, using the finite element method to calculate successively, improved values of the constants until converged results are obtained. Details of the procedure and the results, which were obtained, are presented in the paper.
