描述.Comparative Economic Theory: Occidental and IslamicPerspectives. seeks first to elucidate the nature and methodology ofIslamic political economy as a process-oriented social economy guidedby its cardinal epistemology of Oneness of God (Divine Unity). Fromthis premise is then derived the episteme of unification of knowledgeupon which is developed the methodological content of an extremelyinteractive, integrative and revolutionary world-view of politicaleconomy and a meta-theory of the socio-scientific order. Secondly,while laying out the building blocks of Islamic political economy andits much wider methodological implication for the socio-scientificorder, this book offers a comparative study of occidental thought inthe same areas. Thirdly, topics of microeconomics and macroeconomictheory are covered. This book concludes with chapters on methodologyand an analytical postscript to show how the interactive, integrativeand evolutionary world-view of knowledge-induced systems described bythe Islamic political economy presents new visions of scientificthinking.
