Abstract Graphs and Set SystemsWith Doppler cardiography (Doppler) the velocity and direction of blood flow is measured. Consequently Doppler should be useful in diagnosing heart diseases mainly affecting these parameters. Valvular stenosis (increased velocities) and valvular regurgitation (reversed velocities) are the classical examples of such diseases.
