Considerations for the IT Organization,In this chapter, we study the relaxation of the metastable state by thermal fluctuation in classical systems by using kinetic models, where several important concepts, e.g., spinodal singularity, nucleation, and dynamical spinodal point, are explained.

Considerations for the IT Organization,During the change of state at the first-order phase transition point, the spatial configuration of the state changes very largely because of discontinuous change of states. There, the system shows various interesting spatial patterns of configuration. In this chapter, we survey some typical processes.
