Learning to Teach with Technology with Real-World Problem-Based Learninge suggest that this improvised PBL design was helpful in helping in-service teachers draw from the synergies between their three essential knowledge bases. Optimisation of Collaborative Active Learning in Different Settings and Disciplines in the Tertiary CALiTS) . is the strategies used and the activities created for collaborative active learning to be successful and have student learning. Further research is necessary to focus on the faculty as participants in CAL and could explore faculty identity as teachers of CAL.
