Directional behaviour of group velocity in a magnetoplasma,but only for the whistler wave, and then only when the ionization density is sufficiently high to make the plasma frequency substantially greater than the electronic gyrofrequency. It still remains to provide calculations of group velocity in a magnetoplasma in both magnitude and direction that are reasonably comprehensive.
